The Samsung T220HD is the perfect choice for a dorm room (or other confined space) because it can act as a HDTV (with its built in HD Tuner) and/or as a monitor for your computer or laptop! This is a very high-quality LCD, and if you can get it for less than $400 it’s going to be the best 22″ 1080p LCD deal around.
Note: This HDTV is not truly 1080p with its 1680 x 1050 resolution, but its pretty darn close. At the small size of 22″ it’s not going to matter - its one of the best small-screen HDTVs on the market.

The Samsung T240HD is one of the best small-screen HDTVs. The great thing is this TV’s not only a 1080p HDTV but can also be used as a high resolution monitor for your desktop or laptop! Normally a LCD computer monitor of this quality will run you around $300-400 alone! Very, very cool.

This is definitely a budget set, but it does boast a respectable 1366 x 768 resolution (the best 720p resolution you can get).

This is a Sony’s 2008 top of the line. The XBR4 series of HDTVs are phenomenal TVs, though the slightly higher than average price and unique floating window bezel may not make this the right HDTV for everyone.

If you’re looking for a 67″ HDTV and aren’t a Saudi Prince with money to burn, the Samsung HL67A750 LED DLP is the HDTV for you. It has excellent contrast/color and doesn’t produce the “rainbow” effect that plagued DLPs for years. Keep in mind this is a 67″ DLP HDTV so it will be fairly deep.
